Some major manufacturers are not providing a battery operated version in their latest offerings.
Differences in the 312 over a Rechargeable version
Phonak Lumity 312 is smaller in size compared to the Phonak Lumity L series.
It does not have the double-tap functionality.
It doesn't automatically detect movement and switch modes.
A battery system will not degrade like the rechargeable version can over a few years period.
When doing a lot of streaming a battery is a good option.
Travelling or varying work schedules can make batteries very convenient.
